La Pine Senior Activity Center celebrates 14th Annual Rhubarb Festival
The 14th Annual La Pine Rhubarb Festival took place at the La Pine Senior Activity Center this weekend. When the festival began, it had more than 30 vendors, but it has since grown to more than 140 vendors participating. All 900 granny rhubarb pies were sold Saturday, but there were plenty of items to check out, from earrings to art, purses and clothes. For kids, there was a petting zoo, a bouncy house and face-painting.
