LA PINE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Finding an affordable place to live may soon get a bit easier in the city of La Pine.

An affordable housing non-profit is set to break ground on the Wickiup Station Apartments.

The 39-unit complex will be built on Drafter Road, in the Wickiup Junction area of La Pine.

The complex will offer a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, with prices starting around $600 per month, including utilities. Ten of the units will be reserved specifically for veterans.

Construction is scheduled to begin this summer, with plans to complete the project by next summer.
