REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- A ribbon-cutting in downtown Redmond on Wednesday marked a new chapter for the historic downtown. KTVZ News got a look inside the new coworking space, Evergreen Ave Collaborative.

The new space is managed by Soul Community Planet, the owners of the new Old Redmond Hotel. According to them, Evergreen is the first coworking space in Redmond. It features drop-in work areas, a kitchen, a meeting space and a recording studio. They also have a professional business space available.

Tobias Colvin, general manager of Soul Community Planet, told KTVZ, "The intention behind Evergreen Ave. Collaborative was to create a place where people could connect and come together and do more than just work. They can come together and network. It could be a part of a community that values being healthier, kinder and greener."

Drop-in rates start at $30 a day, while permanent desk rentals begin at just under $300 a month.
