Redmond School District explores changing attendance boundary lines

Redmond School District

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Redmond School District is looking to change its school attendance boundary lines.

The review comes as Redmond schools continue to see enrollment growth.

KTVZ's Spencer Sacks is speaking with district superintendent Dr. Charan Cline to understand the need for the changes. He will have a full report tonight on KTVZ News.

As KTVZ News previously reported, the 2.1% growth rate this year makes Redmond currently the only district among the state's 20 largest to show enrollment gains.

Current projections show that Sage Elementary School is expected to reach 120% of its capacity by 2030 and 126% by 2035.

Tom McCall Elementary School is projected to reach 121% capacity in 2030 and 129% by 2035.
