Help shape Sisters: Residents asked to weigh in on city priorities in new survey

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Sisters City Council is inviting community members to help shape the city’s priorities for the year by completing a City Council Goal Setting Survey by February 1.

The survey offers residents a chance to share ideas, identify issues, and influence the direction of future City Council goals.

The City Council says, each Winter, it reviews and updates its goals for the upcoming fiscal year, establishing objectives to ensure progress is made.

So far, the council has identified several main areas of focus:

  • Housing, Livability and Growth
  • Wildfire Mitigation and Community Resiliency
  • Economic Development
  • Essential Infrastructure
  • Good Governance
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Urban Renewal Agency Goals
