Oregon House Democrats elect leadership team ahead of 2025 session; Bend’s Kropf named deputy majority whip

 SALEM, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Oregon House Democrats convened to elect new leadership to build on the successes of the 2023 and 2024 legislative sessions and continue focusing on what matters most to Oregonians. 

“I’m honored to continue leading the talented group of legislators in the House Democrats’ Caucus,” said Majority Leader Ben Bowman (D-Tigard, Metzger, & S. Beaverton). “Now it’s time to get to work delivering results for working families and protecting Oregonians’ basic rights and freedoms.”

  • Majority Leader - Representative Ben Bowman (Tigard, Metzger & S Beaverton)

  • Majority Whip - Representative Andrea Valderrama (Outer East Portland)
