DCF

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — The Deschutes Children’s Foundation (DCF) teamed up with the Mount Bachelor Rotary Club for a community service day, hosting a seasonal outdoor cleanup at DCF’s Rosie Bareis Community Campus in Bend.

Volunteers from the Rotary Club spent the day removing debris and preparing outdoor areas for fall. The joint effort aimed to enhance the site’s safety, beauty, and welcoming environment for families and nonprofits that operate there.

Both organizations said the cleanup reflects their shared commitment to community service and stewardship of public spaces. By ensuring the campus remains well maintained, DCF and Rotary volunteers help sustain a vital resource for Bend families year-round.

The Rosie Bareis Community Campus serves as a collaborative hub for several nonprofit organizations that support children and families in Bend. The site provides space and shared resources for organizations addressing a range of social services, education, and family support needs.
