VIDEO: Flames engulf tree as vehicle fire rages near Sisters mobile home park

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) — A vehicle fire broke out Wednesday afternoon near a mobile home park in Sisters and spread to nearby trees and vegetation, according to video and PulsePoint. The Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District responded to the scene on Highway 20 shortly after 3 p.m.

The fire occurred at the Sisters mobile home park located on Highway 20. According to the emergency response application Pulse Point, the scene remained active as of 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

KTVZ viewer Ashley Romig captured video of the fire, which showed flames spreading from the vehicle to surrounding trees. The footage depicted a large tree completely engulfed in flames. 1100 East Highway 20 Suite 1 was the specific location of the emergency response.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 3:01 p.m. At least two vehicles from the Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District were sent to manage the blaze. No injuries were immediately reported.

Information from the response application Pulse Point indicated the fire originated with a vehicle. However, the report did not clarify whether the fire involved a standard passenger vehicle or an RV.

KTVZ news has reached out to the fire district for more information regarding the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
