Portland Timbers win 5th straight, 3-0 over San Jose

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jaroslaw Niezgoda scored two goals and the Portland Timbers won their fifth straight match with a 3-0 victory Sunday over the San Jose Earthquakes.

Felipe Mora also scored for Portland, which was level on points with the defending champion Sounders atop the Western Conference. Diego Chara added a pair of assists for the Timbers.
