Hoodoo Ski Area adds carpet lift, Wednesday day/night hours
SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Hoodoo Ski Area is very excited to announce one of its largest additions in years: the brand new Hoodoo carpet lift.
This innovative conveyor-belt system from Team Service is 200 feet long and was installed this summer, adjacent to the Easy Rider lift. It allows skiers and snowboarders quick and easy access up the slope, to the east of the Easy Rider lift.
This will be particularly useful for younger guests taking lessons, as well as others of all ages who are learning how to move on snow.
Similar systems are used all over the world at ski resorts, theme parks and recreation centers. All guests can access the carpet lift with a valid lift ticket.Â
And, for the first time in many years, Hoodoo will be open Wednesdays this season, which will increase night skiing to four weekly sessions. Â
