Five Central Oregon volleyball teams advance in state playoffs; IMC all-league teams released
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) --Central Oregon has five volleyball teams in the state tournament.
Over the weekend, Bend swept Silverton at home, advancing to the quarterfinals.
Summit, on the road, beat Churchill in four sets, also reaching quarters.
Ridgeview and Mountain View were eliminated.
In 4A, Crook County swept Philomath at home in the first round.
In 3A, Sisters, the No. 1 seed, swept Vale at home, earning another quarterfinals trip.
Plus in 1-a, Trinity Lutheran won both of its playoff games at home, including a second-round sweep over South Wasco County and will play in the quarterfinals.
All these teams play Friday, hoping to earn a spot in the state finals on Saturday.
