Bend’s Skyline Sports Complex: An accessible, cheap way to cross-country ski, thanks to volunteers
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)- At Skyline Sports Complex on Bend's Westside, there is a groomed trail for people looking to cross country ski in town, when snowfall allows and volunteers pitch in to make it happen.
The grooming is done by several volunteers, including some from XC Oregon. The Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation and Bend Park and Recreation partnered with the volunteers to make it possible.
