‘Insane obstacles’: AMA EnduroCross racing returns to the dirt track Saturday at the Redmond Fairgrounds
Jillian Fortner will be live at the track for a preview on NewsChannel 21 at Five
REDMOND, Ore. (KKTVZ) -- The Deschutes County Fairgrounds will host the fifth round of the 2024 AMA EnduroCross Championship Series this weekend. The event features some of the fastest dirt bikes and riders from around the world.
Jillian Fortner will be previewing the track Friday and talking to some of the riders. She'll be live in the arena tonight on NewsChannel 21.
"This extreme dirt bike racing event combines the challenging obstacles of an enduro into the tight confines of a fan-friendly stadium setting." according to the EnduroCross website. "Riders have to race over rock beds, huge logs, tractor tires and more insane obstacles."
The event is scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. in the First Interstate Bank Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Ticket prices range from $25 to $35. The website says prices increase by $5 on the day of the event.
