Six wins in a row and No. 1 in the state, Caldera boys basketball is hooping ahead of league play
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- When you head to Caldera High School on a late night and the gym lights are on, you will be in for quite the show. The Caldera Wolfpack boys basketball team is the No. 1 team in the state and are on a six-game win streak.
The Wolfpack are led by a star-studded senior class, and on Tuesday, while the Wolfpack didn't have the best night offensively, seniors Will Jenson and Aiden Cruz stepped up down the stretch to take the win over Crook County 53-50.
Those two seniors are not the only ones you should watch out for. The backcourt duo of Jack Bents and Miles Macomber is electric and has been all season long.
When it hits league play, be on the lookout for the guards to put up big numbers.
Seb Fievet also is a huge asset for the Wolfpack, and as first year head coach Evan Dougherty says any of them could go off on any given night.
Caldera finishes the non-league season with South Salem on the road this Friday, and follows with 6A powerhouse West Linn the following week.
