No. 4 Redmond boys top No. 1 Caldera in crucial IMC clash
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Intermountain Conference has always been filled with talent on the basketball court. Last year, the Summit Storm showed no signs of weakness, but this season there has been little to no clarity on who the top dog really is.
Ahead of this week of games, Caldera, Redmond and Summit all sat at 6-2 and tied for the top spot in the IMC.
On Tuesday night, No. 4 Redmond clashed with No. 1 Caldera to get closer to settling things at the top of the IMC. For the second time this season, the Redmond Panthers pulled through in the clutch against the Wolfpack for the series sweep. Redmond beat the Wolfpack 75-72, bringing the standings to 1. Summit, 2. Redmond, 3. Caldera.
With the Panthers' big win over the Wolfpack, all they can do is hope that the Summit Storm may get upset by Ridgeview in the final regular season game of the year.
Either way on Tuesday night, the Panthers once again proved they can run with anyone in the state and look to bring the momentum from this crucial win into the first round of the playoffs.
Jack Snyder led the Panthers with 23 points, Wyatt Horner had 19 pts, and Ian Pearson finished with 15.
