Rodeo photographer captures the High Desert Stampede action
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Live from the 2025 High Desert Stampede, KTVZ Anchor Lynsey Harris spoke with photographer Andrew Van Asselt about the fun he has shooting the events.
Asked why he's back for a second year, Van Asselt said the answer is simple -- "the community.:
"It has been so cool to see how everybody's been so welcoming, and how can you not want to be around all the rough tock and the cowboys, and just everybody, from the stands to volunteers to directors have been so welcoming, and it's like one big family. So that's bringing me back."
