Sisters baseball tops La Pine in playoff showdown to advance to the 3A quarterfinals

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ)- In a tightly contested 3A playoff matchup, Sisters and La Pine, two teams very familiar with each other, met on Wednesday for the fourth time this season.

Sisters started strong, building an early lead thanks to solid pitching and timely hitting. La Pine mounted a comeback to even the score midway through the game.

Despite the momentum shift, Sisters responded quickly to regain the lead and held on through the final innings.

The Outlaws edged out La Pine 7-6 to secure a spot in the quarterfinals. They play in the quarterfinals against Taft on Friday.
