Beyond the Score: Back where it all began, NFL player and Bend High alum Luke Musgrave hosts youth camp

Bend, Or (KTVZ)- Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave returned to where it all began, hosting his first-ever youth football camp at Bend High School, the same field where his own journey took off.

Dozens of local kids showed up for a day of drills, skills, and friendly competition, with touchdowns thrown by the hometown hero himself.

For the young athletes, it was more than just a camp. It was a chance to learn from someone who once stood right where they are now.

Musgrave starred at Oregon State for three seasons before being drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, joining the rare group of Central Oregon athletes to reach the pros.

Now, he’s using that platform to inspire the next generation. Whether it was posing for photos, giving out high-fives, or celebrating touchdowns with campers, Musgrave made it clear: he’s not just back in Bend, he’s here to give back.
