Tennessee State defeats SIU-Edwardsville 75-70

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. — Marcus Fitzgerald Jr. had 18 points as Tennessee State narrowly beat Southern Illinois-Edwardsville 75-70. Carlos Marshall Jr. added 17 points for the Tigers on Thursday night, while Kassim Nicholson chipped in 16. Ray’Sean Taylor led the Cougars with 26 points, tying his career high.
