Su, USA’s Baker clock 9.83 in semi, advance to 100m final

China’s Su Bingtian and Ronnie Baker both ran 9.83 – an Asia record for Su and personal best for Baker – to grab the two auto-qualify spots in the third and last 100m semifinal; Su got the win, beating Baker by .002.
