Mateta’s goal enough for France to win 1-0 over Argentina

France did just enough to eliminate Argentina in a 1-0 quarterfinal win in the men’s soccer tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics thanks to an early goal scored by Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta.
