The final full day of Paris Olympic track and field action featured a marathon record, American Masai Russell claiming 100m hurdles gold, Kenya extending its streak to five consecutive 800m Olympic titles and Grant Fisher securing a bronze medal distance double for the U.S. To cap the evening, both American 4x400m relay teams took home gold medals.
