The Summit girls took the floor Friday night with a tough 6A opponent on the other end, but it did not matter. The Storm balled out and best Forest Grove 55-35, and continue to be a top 5 team in 5A.

A double-header win at Summit is just what the Storm boys needed. They faced a top-ranked 4A opponent and dominated down the stretch to beat Cascade 62-55 and move to 11th in the 5A ranks.

The Mountain View Cougars were in for a dogfight at home Friday night as the Crook County Cowboys came to town. The soon-to-be league rival beat the Cougars 66-60 in a three-point showdown.
