Southeast area of Bend could see much more growth
The state has approved plans for Bend to expand its urban growth boundary by more than 600 acres with the Stevens Road Tract, including about 260 acres on the eastern side of the property that advanced at the state level Tuesday.

Greattttt! Can you imagine the traffic issues this will cause when this gets built out??? You think traffic is insane on two-laned Reed Market? You ain’t seen nothing yet! And 27th Street…are there plans to widen it to (at least) four lanes to handle all the “comings and goings”? Typical local planning…shoot for the moon and THEN address how they’ll be getting there…
