Viewer Video: Northern Lights hit the skies of the Cascades at Little Lava Lake

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- One loyal KTVZ viewer was up all night Tuesday, as he captured a stunning timelapse of the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, at Little Lava Lake off the Cascade Lakes Highway.

In the video, you can see the Aurora's red color sparked up in the evening and then again before sunrise. Craig said the Aurora's green lights never really showed, but the colors and stars reflected in the water of Little Lava Lake.
