Kids’ Calf Scramble brings the fun at the Crooked River Roundup

PRINEVILLE, Ore. — KTVZ sponsored a crowd-favorite event at the 80th Crooked River Roundup: the high-energy Calf Scramble.

During intermission, kids ages 6 to 12 dashed into the arena, racing to grab a ribbon tied to a calf’s tail. The scramble lasted less than a minute, with young Titus claiming the prize — a shiny belt buckle for his quick work.

Second and third place finishers took home cash prizes. KTVZ is proud to support the tradition and looks forward to next year’s scramble!
