The Pavilion welcomes girls and women for the Girls and Women Have the Edge hockey event, visiting Olympian

  Tighten those helmets, lace up those skates and grab your hockey sticks. Girls and women did just that on Sunday, and headed to The Pavilion in Bend for the third annual Girls and Women Have the Edge hockey event. It was an opportunity for dozens of girls and women ages 5 and up to came together on the ice. Bend Park and Recreation hosted the event, featuring Megan Bozek. She is a two-time Olympian and four-time world champion for the U.S. Women's Ice Hockey team.
