Crook County students protest for the future of Athletic Director Rob Bonner

In Prineville Monday morning, Crook County Middle School and High School students walked out of school and protested at Pioneer Park and the Crook County School District building to protest the future of their athletic director Rob Bonner. The district is looking into removing Bonner from the position after complaints to the school board. The students caught wind of the complaints and hit the streets with chants, signs, and in numbers to show their support for their athletic director. The district investigated a complaint about Bonner in the past about how he dealt with a situation with a volleyball coach. However, each and every student at the protest voiced their concern about the school board, as Bonner affects the lives of the students in a positive way.
