Kids make homemade signs showing support and thanks for the Firefighting efforts on the Flat Fire

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ)-- Take a look at these photos sent in by one of our viewers at yesterday's public meeting on the Flat Fire. Local kids found a special way to say thank you. A group including campers from a local cheerleading camp spent time making colorful thank you signs for firefighters and first responders. Most of the signs were delivered to fire camp, but a few went home with the residents who proudly displayed them in their yards. Organizers say it was a simple gesture that lifted spirits for both the community and the crews on the front lines.
