Showers ahead, with cooldown

Happy Saturday, Central Oregon!

A stationary low-pressure center just off the central coast of British Columbia will be responsible for rotating moisture and colder air into the Pacific NW over the weekend.

The chance of showers Saturday morning will turn to a likelihood of rain through the day.

Highs will be in the mid 60s, with some gusty southwest winds.

This will weaken Saturday night.

The chance of showers will diminish Sunday, but we will be left with colder temperatures.

Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s and lows will drop below freezing.

Monday, we will transition back to more pleasant conditions.

We will see a variable cloud cover Monday and Tuesday.

A nice warming trend will get us back to the low to mid 70s by next Thursday.
