Early fog concerns with another day of mild temperatures

Happy end-of-the-week! This morning brings more fog and freezing fog concerns.  Later today, conditions should be mostly cloudy with mild temperatures and a chance for some light, spotty pockets of rain.  The majority of this wave of moisture will likely stay West of the Cascades and along the crests with a stronger chance for local showers tomorrow.  Additionally, areas of fog may develop again this evening.

A Dense Fog advisory is in place in Central Oregon until 10am this morning due to hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility of 1/4 mile or less.  While temperatures are below freezing, this fog can become freezing fog and create accumulations of ice on elevated surfaces like roadways, sidewalks, patios and more so exercise caution during your commute.

Winds today will be be out of the southeast and 5-10 mph for the majority of the region.  Sustained winds of closer 15-20 mph are possible in some areas later this afternoon and evening.

Temperatures today will be mild again in the 40s and low 50s and overnight lows will sit in the low to middle 30s again on the High Desert.
