Quiet pattern with chilly overnight lows through end of week

A fine Wednesday to you, Central Oregon.  This morning brings chilly temperatures, a slight chance for some patchy fog as well as the possibility of black ice, especially on secondary roads before temperatures warm.

The winter weather we experienced over the weekend and early this week appears to have ended for the time being.  Then next bit of possible precipitation appears to be this weekend.  Expect mostly quiet, dry and stagnant conditions to produce low clouds. Clear nights with light wind will make for chilly overnight lows, but otherwise, sensible weather concerns are pretty limited through Thursday.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in place to the South of our forecast area including portions of Lake and Klamath counties until 10am due to additional snow up to 5 inches and road conditions are potentially slippery in those areas.

Calm winds will become Northwest by this afternoon in the 5-15mph range, dying back down to the 5mph range by midnight.

High Temperatures will be bit below average today in the 30s and 40s but slightly warmer temps are on the way be end of week. Overnight lows will be in the teens and 20s.
