Coolest day of the week, warm up tomorrow

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today will be the coolest day of the short work week as highs will only reach the middle 60s.

The mountains are experiencing some lingering showers this morning so roads may be wet in those areas. It looks like we'll be remaining on the dry side for the next few days.

You may see or smell the smoke again today. Firefighters are conducting prescribed burns four miles west of Bend and four miles northwest of Sisters. You'll most likely feel the strongest impacts overnight and in the early morning hours.

Overnight lows are dropping into the 30s tonight under clear skies. No areas will be hitting the below freezing mark but it should be chilly.

Thursday starts a nice warm up for the region with highs back in the low 70s under mostly sunny skies. We'll be a little bit warmer on Friday with temperatures topping out in the low 80s.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
