Freezing fog continues this morning

We are waking up to freezing fog once again this morning. There is a Freezing Fog Advisory out for parts of our region that will expire at 11am today. Travel will be impacted due to limited visibility and possibly slick roads. This will affect the roads but also air travel. Flights in and out of Redmond could see some delays and/or cancellations. Freezing fog will leave a thin, icy film on your car and the ground. Be careful this morning.

Due to the dense, freezing fog this morning, temperatures will struggle to heat up during the day in some areas. The lower elevations like Madras, Warm Springs and Redmond will be affected by this the most.

A ridge of high pressure is over Oregon, keeping our night skies clear and cool, our mornings foggy, and our afternoon highs on the rise. Temperatures will peak Friday, reaching the mid 50s.

A small disturbance in the sky Thursday will bring increasing cloud cover through the end of the week. There is a chance for rain Saturday that will turn to snow as temperatures drop into the night.

Happy Tuesday and have a great day!
