Showers today but drier weather returns tomorrow
Scattered rain and mixed showers are expected today. A warm front passed by overnight and a cold front is making its way through this morning. You’ll be using your windshield wipers this morning because these light, widespread showers are falling. Gusty conditions are in the forecast today as this system passes. Winds will gust around 20-30mph through the day, with the strongest occurring this morning.
There is a chance for icy roads this morning. A Winter Weather Advisory is active until tomorrow morning for the eastern slopes and southern Deschutes County including Sisters, La Pine, and Sunriver. Snow will mostly fall at higher elevations but icy roads are a concern for your morning commute.
Highs today will be in the 40s and lows tonight will drop into the 20s, with a couple areas dipping just below.
Rain will taper off progressively into the evening and drier conditions will take over tomorrow. We’ll remain dry for a few days until Sunday when rain returns.
Look for highs tomorrow to be similar to today, but by Friday we’ll be back in the 50s. We’ll keep the 50s into next week. Friday and Saturday should be great days to get outside.
Happy Wednesday! Have a nice day.
