Another spring-like day ahead of us! Highs today will reach the upper 50s and low 60s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will gust around 15-20mph but settle into the evening. Lows tonight will drop into the 20s and 30s.

Friday is the last day in February and will also be our warmest day of the week and the warmest day we’ve had this year so far. Highs will hit the low to upper 60s. Normal for this time of year is in the upper 40s. Get outside and enjoy the spring-feel conditions because it won’t last very long. We will cool back down to near normal through the weekend.

A ridge of high pressure currently dominates the region, providing us with these beautiful nice-weather days. It will move eastward this weekend as a low pressure begins to drop in. With this changing pattern, expect an increase in cloud cover ahead of rain and snow in the higher elevations starting on Sunday. There is a chance we see some wet weather lingering into early next week.

Happy Thursday! Enjoy the sunshine and the 60s!
