A weak cold front is approaching this morning, bringing with it light rain and snow. We’ll a passing shower or two early in the day as the cold front makes its way across Oregon. Spotty rain will follow into the late morning, but the afternoon will stay dry and partly to mostly cloudy.

Wednesday morning will start dry but as an upper level low moves into our region, it will bring spotty snow and rain during the second half of the day. Due to the placement of this system, the heaviest precipitation will be to our southeast, into Nevada and Utah. Little snow accumulation is expected along 97 but the mountains will pick up a few inches.

Temperatures this week are near normal, hovering right around 50 in Bend. Highs will top out in the mid 40s to low 50s today. We’ll see temperatures drop a few degrees mid-week but heat up again heading into the weekend.

Happy Tuesday! Have a great day.
