Pleasant weather returns just in time for the weekend

Temperatures are back to near normal today, in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be light today. Overnight lows will drop into the 20s and 30s.

A high pressure has moved in just in time for the weekend, which will keep our skies mostly sunny and help to increase our temperatures. Look for temperatures to rise into the mid 50s and low 60s on both Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy some time outside this weekend hiking, biking, or even golfing as spring weather visits Central Oregon for the weekend.

Winter weather returns next week, either late Monday or early Tuesday. The high pressure exits our region and an upper level low will take over early next week. We’ll see on an off rain and snow mixed for a few days.

Daylight Saving Time is this weekend, so don’t forget to set your clock forward one hour before you go to bed on Saturday. The sunset will occur one hour later after this weekend.
