A wet and chilly end to March, drier and warmer weather around the corner
Showers started yesterday afternoon and will continue off and on for the next few days. We’ll see scattered rain and mixed showers today, turning to isolated snow showers overnight. Most snow is expected to fall along the mountains, and little accumulation is expected in the high desert, but some of us will see flakes falling nonetheless.
Wet weather should taper off mid week, with sunnier and drier conditions through the second half, heading into the weekend.
Temperatures will remain on the cool side this week. Highs today are in the 40s, but due to gusty winds, it will feel quite a bit colder. Look for highs to top out in the 40s and occasionally the low 50s all week. Normal for this time of year is in the mid 50s. A warm up is expected over the weekend, just in time for the rodeo!
Happy Monday! Have a great day.
