Clearing skies and warming temperatures for the weekend
Temperatures today are climbing a few degrees, getting into the mid 40s to low 50s. Skies will be partly cloudy and winds will be light, but will pick up a bit in the late afternoon. Lows tonight will drop into the 20s and 30s.
A ridge of high pressure is moving in and taking over. As it does, we’ll see clear blue skies and near normal temperatures by Friday. The high pressure will hang out overhead for a bit, so you can plan for sunny skies and 60s and 70s for the weekend.
The next few days are going to be quiet and comfortable. If you’re still figuring out which day to go to the High Desert Stampede, Saturday will be the warmest day that the rodeo is in town. Sunday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, heating up a few degrees warmer than Saturday.
Clouds are expected to roll back in late Sunday as we gear up for some more rain heading into Monday. The good news is that the wet weather will be short lived and we’ll dry out quickly.
Have a nice day today. Happy Thursday!
