Mother’s Day cooldown with light rain showers
Happy Saturday!
More clouds are rolling in this weekend. Afternoon highs topped out in the 70s today, which is a bit above normal.
Overnight lows will drop into the 30s and 40s under cloudy skies. Hope you got to enjoy the warmth, because it won’t be sticking around.
A low pressure system off the coast is moving into the region from the Pacific. This will bring in cooler air along with increasing cloud cover and showers.
This will drop our temperatures about 10 to 15 degrees tomorrow, bringing us back to the 60s.
We start Sunday dry, but light, scattered showers will develop in the afternoon. It won’t be a washout on Mother's Day, just some passing rain.Â
On Monday, temperatures are expected to drop further, with highs in the 50s to low 60s. The forecast area is expected to see more rain this day, along with gusty winds.
The upcoming week will stay cool with highs mainly in the 60s.
Enjoy your weekend!
