Warming up on Friday with summer-like temps

It’s a beautiful day across Central Oregon with sunny skies with highs in the 70s. While temperatures are a bit cooler than yesterday, we remain above normal for this time of year.

Skies will remain mostly clear overnight with lows dropping into the 40s.

We’re no longer expecting record-breaking heat this week, but it will still be on the warm side. Friday looks to be the hottest day, with highs reaching the upper 80s to low 90s. While it stays warm into Saturday, temperatures will dip slightly as the high pressure ridge moves east.

A heat advisory is in effect Saturday for parts of northeast and southeast Oregon where temperatures could hit triple digits. As of now, there are no heat alerts for Central Oregon.

If you’re not a fan of the warm weather, Sunday should bring some relief. Afternoon highs will be near normal in the 60s and low 70s.

It looks like we'll remain dry through the weekend, but we'll let you know if anything changes.

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!
