Sunday warm up kicks off a hot stretch of days
Happy Saturday, Central Oregon!
A high pressure system building this weekend will bring hotter conditions Sunday, with highs reaching the upper 80s to low 90s.
Expect sunny skies across the region tomorrow. It’s best to hit the trails early before the heat sets in. No surprise if the river’s packed with floaters!
The heat sticks around next week, with highs returning to the 90s Monday and Tuesday. Heat advisories will be in effect to our north on Monday and Tuesday. While none are issued for Central Oregon, it's still important to take precautions with this heat.
We're keeping an eye on a low pressure system off the coast of Central California that could bring in some moisture. Combined with the heat, this could trigger isolated storms on Monday and possibly again on Tuesday. Still, it doesn’t look like we’ll get the soaking rain we need.
Enjoy your weekend!
