Comfortable weekend ahead, but a storm or two can’t be ruled out

Happy Friday!

We’re still holding onto a bit of unsettled weather. Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening, mainly across Deschutes and Crook counties. While the Red Flag Warning has expired and fire danger has decreased, lightning can still spark fires during this dry stretch.

Expect mostly clear conditions overnight with temperatures dropping into the 40s and 50s.

Looking ahead to the weekend, storm chances drop off, but they don’t disappear entirely. Saturday looks partly cloudy with a slim chance for a pop-up shower or storm.

We have a slightly better chance for isolated showers/storms on Sunday. It’s still low, but it’s something to keep in mind if you are making outdoor plans. High temperatures will be comfortable over the weekend, ranging from the 70s to 80s.

By Monday, we’ll shift into a quieter pattern. Expect mostly sunny conditions with cooler highs in the mid 70s.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
