Storms/showers make a return on Sunday

Evening storms across Central Oregon have been stronger than anticipated. These storms have brought rainfall, gusty winds, and lightning to the region. If you can hear thunder roar, go indoors!

We should clear up later tonight. Overnight lows will drop into the 40s and 50s.

Sunday starts off mostly sunny, but you’ll notice more clouds moving in by midday.

There's a chance for scattered showers and storms across Central Oregon tomorrow, expected to peak in the afternoon and evening. Some could produce lightning, gusty winds, and small hail.

Sunday's highs will cool slightly into the low to mid 80s. Temperatures will be nice for outdoor plans, but be sure to keep those storm in mind. If you’re heading out for a morning hike or bike ride, conditions should be just fine.

We should be mostly cleared out by Monday, though a few light sprinkles can’t be ruled out. Expect highs in the 80s through the work week with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

Enjoy your weekend!
