Tracking severe thunderstorms, clearing out Monday

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop across Central Oregon through the evening. These thunderstorms are capable of producing abundant lightning, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall. Small hail is also possible.

Our main concerns are the hail and gusty winds which could cause damage to vehicles. Wind damage is possible to roofs, siding, and trees. If you hear thunder, go indoors right away to stay safe.

Overnight lows are dropping into the 40s and 50s under mostly cloudy skies.

A quiet pattern returns Monday as we clear out from the storms tonight.

Temperatures will cool to below seasonal normals, with 70s and 80s across the region. Expect mostly sunny conditions tomorrow.

Dry conditions will persist through the majority of the work week.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
