A few slight chances for rain this week, cooler temperatures expected
Bend, OR (KTVZ) - Last week the region was enjoying 60 degree temperatures. This week, plan for highs in the 40s and 50s. Temperatures will remain relatively stable throughout the week, ranging from near to just above normal. The seasonal average in Bend right now is upper 40s.
A stray shower is possible if you’re starting your Monday morning off early. Otherwise, clearing skies for the rest of the day.
Overnight temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s. It will likely be frosty Tuesday morning. Areas of fog are also possible. Consider working in a few extra minutes tomorrow morning to heat up your car and take it slow on the roads. We could see the same deal Wednesday morning.
The next chance for precipitation is early Thursday with a mixture of rain and snow. Most of this will be confined to the mountains, with only slight chances for areas along US97. La Pine and Sunriver have the best chance; rain chances fall off the further north you go. Jefferson County will likely stay dry.
The weekend should stay dry, but we’ll be monitoring any changes throughout the week.Â
