Mostly dry and mild weekend, mountain snow and a chance mix Sunday
Bend, OR (KTVZ) -
UPDATE: The Dense Fog Advisory has been cancelled early
A Dense Fog Advisory has been released by the NWS for areas along 97 until 10am. Visibility is less than a quarter mile in some areas. With near and below freezing temperatures, freezing fog is also likely which can create an icy glaze on roads and a frosty film on your windshield. Make sure to give yourself extra time to get to work today.

After fog lifts, skies will be mostly sunny and temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. The sunshine will stick around Saturday as temperatures warm into the low to mid 50s.
Clouds are expected to increase Sunday. A cold front will bring showers to the Valley and mountain snow Sunday into early Monday. The mountains will pick up another 2-4” during this time.
There is a chance for a few stray rain or mixed showers late Sunday in the high desert, but we’ll see a clearing into early Monday.
There are slight chances for showers and mountain snow mid next week. We are still fine-tuning the exact timing, but we could see a little rain here and there for a couple of days next week.
Make sure to tune in next week for the latest updates to the forecast and travel conditions for the Holiday.
Have a wonderful weekend!
