Mostly quiet weekend, chance of stray showers Sunday with mountain snow
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - After a foggy start to the day, skies cleared up nicely! Highs reached the 40s and 50s under mostly sunny skies.
As we head into the overnight lows, temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s. Expect mostly clear skies.
The quiet weather will continue heading into the weekend as high pressure settles over the Pacific Northwest. Sunshine sticks around tomorrow as temperatures warm into the low to mid 50s.
A cold front moves in Sunday which will bring increasing clouds and mountain snow into early Monday. Snow levels are expected to drop to 3900 ft after midnight.
The mountains could see a few more inches of snow during this time, but not much more than that is likely. A lack of adequate early snowfall has delayed the opening for Mt. Bachelor.
In the lower elevations, we have a chance for a few stray rain/mixed showers on Sunday. Winds will be breezy.
Slight chances for showers and mountain snow return next week. With Thanksgiving travel coming up, tune in each day so you’re ready for whatever the weather brings.
