Cool and dry but rain and warming temperatures are expected late this week
Bend, OR (KTVZ) -
Temperatures today and tomorrow are roughly 3-5 degrees above normal for this time of year. Look for highs to be in the 40s. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy both days.
Rain is expected to return late in the week. There is a slight chance for a stray shower Thursday but likely dry conditions otherwise. Plan for increasing chances for rain into the weekend. Rain is expected Friday and Saturday but the weather will turn more showery by Sunday as the precipitation begins to clear.
Temperatures warm into the weekend, which means that Central Oregon is only expecting rain. Highs will be in the 40s and low to mid 50s. This also means that the mountains aren’t expecting much in the way of snow. Most of the mountain precipitation will also be rain and only a chance for a wintry mix. Unfortunately, skiers and snowboarders are still going to have to wait for snow for a little while longer.
Have a nice Tuesday.
